Andy Stanley from Your Move, recently asked the question, “What Breaks Your Heart?” If you look around your community, what breaks your heart? What do you want to change? If you look around your state, what breaks your heart? Who can you impact? When you look at our nation, what breaks your heart? We have the power and resources to positively change our world.
Millard and Linda Fuller’s hearts were broken for people who could not afford to buy a home. As they gathered around the dinner table with friends, they decided to pool their resources and build a home for a family in need. Initially, they had a vision to change the lives of one family. Ultimately, their vision became Habitat for Humanity.
It is true, we may not be able to change the entire world, but we can definitely change one person’s life. We have the power to change the world one person at a time.
This week, ask yourself, “What Breaks Your Heart?”
My heart is broken, when I think about kids not having proper access to food and clean water. In response, our family supports World Vision.
You can change the world.
